Findings

The findings of our research should be available both to the scientific community and to a broarder ge­neral audience. For the scientific community there is an antho­logy (in German) and a special issue in an English-language journal. For the general public we have de­veloped a number of formats that are more accessible and address different target groups at different le­vels of complexity.

Furthermore, the intensive exchange with the practice was also important to us. We have discussed our ideas and re­sults several times with decision-makers from politics, federal, state and local administrations, civil society, (security) authorities and actors in po­litical education, and have thus evaluated them on an ongoing basis. In this way, we want to determine the knowledge re­quirements and the demands made on our work by actors who are active in practice and who also influence our policy recommendations.
